Return and purchase at Sunglass Hut.

  • +10

You really should put the detail about 30% for a single pair, and at least two pairs purchased in one transaction to get 40% off. This is not just small detail, it's very important.
As is "Offer is not redeemable on Chanel, Maui Jim"

*Terms & Conditions: 1. Offer is redeemable for 30% off single pair or 40% off multiple pair purchases of full priced
sunglasses at sunglasshut.com.au and any Sunglass Hut store (excluding Myer concessions and discount outlet stores)
within Australia. 2. Offer is redeemable for 40% off only when a person purchases two or more pairs of sunglasses in a
single transaction or if two or more people purchase one or more pairs each at the same time. 3. Offer is not redeemable
on Chanel, Maui Jim or sunglasses purchased on layby. 4. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or
discount from any other source. 5. Offer can be used by up to two people at the same time in store, with a maximum of
one transaction per person. 6. You must present this email at the time of purchase at a Sunglass Hut store. 7. Offer valid
    15th October to 5th November 2014. Discount code FF4.

Updated. Sorry this is my fist post :)

      • +5

        Hard-enough with fat fingers :P

    • Is this 40% off for the total of TWO pairs? or just a discount on the 2nd pair?

      • 40 off each

  • +7

Kept trying the code but didn't work….came back and re read this post…. Doesn't start until the 15th bugger :( it's not much of an impulse buy for me if I have to plan ahead :p

  • Great! can't wait till 15th

  • +4

Was at City Myers 30mins back to look for glasses. Tried the ones which i want and almost had my wallet off but for some reason thought let me wait for a week….and wallah!!!!!

    • +1

haha, lucky you! normally it happens to me the other way round, go to store buy it, next day find it cheaper somewhere else

    • +8

      Voila.

  • +1

FF4 IS INVALID. PLEASE VERIFY THE CODE AND TRY AGAIN.

    EDIT….. Starts on the 15th!

  • wow that is pretty damn early

  • Following

  • Almost bought a Ray Ban in Myer yesterday. 40% off on one day sale. Turns out most of the new lenses are plastic.

    • -6

Well duh, what do you think they are made of? Diamonds?

      • +1

Ray Ban lenses comes in both plastic and glass (crystal lenses). Back in the past, the glass lenses were more common.

        • what about rayban aviators are they plastic or glass lenses?

        • @abracadabra: they seemed too heavy for plastic from my experience with wearing them for a few years.

      • Have used Ray Ban for years- Always been glass not plastic.

  • Hell yeah been waiting for this!

  • Just bought two pairs for my kids a couple days ago, can I get refund on sunglasses?

    • +1

My girlfriend returned a pair no problems, had worn them outside once or twice and didn't like the way the lenses changed the light while driving. Think she got cash back (or whatever payment method used).

  • Damnit.. Bought oakleys from US during the 15% off eBay promo.

  • I guess oakleys are not excluded. Thats a first.

    • +2

Weren't excluded last time. I bought two pairs with the discount.

Was excited when I saw this deal pop up, but disappointed when I saw there were no Oakley designs which I like and don't already have.

      • The Oakley store at Birkenhead Pt has better deals around Boxing day sale if you can wait that long.

    • +2

They have not been excluded for years. Luxottica owns just about all sunglass brands these days, they make a fortune.

  • +1

Damn saw this a few days ago was planning to wait and post this

  • DO they have prescription lenses in these?

  • +1

I am in no way associated with these guys, but have used them before - if you need some replacement lenses, give https://www.thesunglassfix.com.au/ a go. Thought they were pretty great.

    • I am thinking of getting a bright blue polarised lens for my Rayban aviators. Is this company any good and are the lens genuine?

EDIT: Read through their FAQ, they are just replacement so no branding on the lens

      • They don't do glass lenses and they aren't branded. In the end I decided to get a new pair from sunglass hut 50% off when I dropped and chipped my glass lens metal framed Ray-ban.it was only a little more than sunglass fix wanted to charge, and IMO worth it to keep them original. Nothing beats glass anyway.

        • Did you purchased your previous Ray Ban from Sunglasses hut in order to have the 50% off and what model is it?

        • @abracadabra: yes, RB3483

  • +1

Even at 30% off all of the sunnies I looked at are significantly cheaper landed from Amazon.

  • Anyone know if OPSM is doing the friends and family discount this month? Need some prescription sunnies and I missed the last one.

    • I think it could help
OPSM 25% off* frames & sunglasses for health fund members.

*Offer valid at all OPSM stores across Australia. Offer valid for purchase of frames, lenses (in store only) and non-prescription sunglasses (prescription available in store only). • A few years ago, OPSM matched the Sunglass Hut Family & Friends offer for me. You can always try asking them to see whether they will as they are both owned by the same parent company.

    • Flybuys is offering 30% off with FLYBUYS30 code according to the monthly barcodes they send off. Offer valid until 23 November. I haven't tried it as I was waiting to see if a better offer popped up and now it has :)

  • -1

Do they have an option for prescription lenses for extra?

  • Been waiting for this cheers OP.

  • Code doesn't work?

    • +4

Try reading the title again, then look at today's date.

      • +3

Cheers mate, me missus is keen to grab a few pairs, saw 'Wednesday' and jumped the gun- Maybe should've gone to Specsavers

  • +1

Anyone in Adelaide who only wants 1 pair of sunnies interested in pairing up to get the 40% off instead of 30% ? PM me

  • +1

    Guys, just one day left……

  • The code works now, just bought 2 pairs of sunnies

  • Saved $200+, thanks :D

  • Site is down at the minute, just had sunglasses and was checking out… F%#$!

  • Some of the RayBan aviators after discounts still higher than other stores sale prices… :-(

    • The RRP are inline with other Australian distributors. Prices I'm seeing with discount are even cheaper than USA prices (legit places like Shadesdaddy, etc).

You need to make sure you are comparing the same model, lens type and of course authenticity.

  • The pair we were after is mysteriously sold out today, annoying,

  • just found a great Rayban sunglasses that i want to buy. I have Medibank OSHC. Wondering can i get discount or rebate for this? I've never ever claimed anything from Medibank before except for going to GP so i don't know how will it work.

    • You might be able to but definitely call Medibank first. They are usually pretty helpful over the phone…

  • some pairs are sold out already…

  • +1

Argh so tempted! But I already have 3 pairs of Oakley sunnies.

  • +1

    Thanks!! Saved $200

  • Is it safer to buy of this site as opposed to iFrames.com.au?
Cos the one I am after seems to be a little cheaper there, just afraid they're not legit.

    • My 2c…

Bought a pair of Carerra's not long ago from iframes with the exact same concerns.

Worked out really well though. Decent price, quick delivery and they came with tags . Definitely legit.

They do also mention this on their site (click the 100% authenticity guaranteed badge in the header)

      • Thanks! Very tempting as they have $25 off when you buy two pairs at the moment too.

  • +1

Love their free returns, ordered a couple and will choose one or two, cheers !

  • Offer doesnt stack with existing discounting (30%), which is fine, but it also means you miss out on 40% discount when buying multiple pairs

  • Is this eligible with Cash rewards ?($14 cashback)

  • Shit FF4 discount only applies to the full priced items.

  • can you buy 2 pairs for 40% off and return one for partial refund?

  • Anyone in Sydney want to buy a pair?

    • am thinking about it

    • +4

      Buy the cheapest kids pair

  • +1

can you buy an expensive and a cheap to make up a pair for %40 off

    • Yep, buy a cheap kids pair

      Rukku (RP1015Y Froggie) $19.95 down to $9.98
      Rukku (R1015V Froggie) $16.95 down to $8.48
      RUKKU (R1019P Pony) $16.95 down to $8.48

      • +1

Only valid on full priced sunnies, so the ones you've listed wont work.

  • The code "FF4" doesn't seem to work for me. Does it still work for others?

  • +1

Much more success in store, found the model we wanted and bought another.

    • Likewise. The cheap $16.95 sunglasses are still in stock in stores too.

  • Great thanks!

  • Bought a pair and my mate did as well. Sad thing was that we both didn't get a new pair of sunnies since they had no brand new ones within the store. The other store we went to, same deal and informed them to order in brand new ones for us… Instead it was floor stock and probably from another local store with no 'fresh ones'. Guess beware and ensure it's new stock if you're not anal for new gear!

    • Same thing happened to me but the salesperson said she would call me if they have a brand new one in store and swap mine as I wasn't happy to buy the display one. So I bought it and now am waiting for her call within the next week she promised.

  • +1

Thank you so much! My boyfriend and I bought two pairs of Ray Ban yesterday with the total value up to $480 but we used the voucher so we only had to pay $290 woo hoo! We went to the flagship store in Sydney and their customer service was exceptional. I feel bad for people who didn't know about this coupon and they had to pay full price.

  • Huh? Voucher fininished today! argh! better get in and buy!!!

    • +2

      finishes*

      • Code doesn't work so it's actually "finished".

        • I just got 30% off a pair of sunnies I bought a few hours ago. What code were you using?

        • @nickxau: FF4

  • damn only saw this today and the ones i want are out of stock ):

  • The promotion code you have entered is invalid. Please verify the code and try again.

  • +2

Bought a couple of pairs for me and my wife.
    After discount paid about $320…

Going overseas in December, going to claim TRS!
    Very happy!

  • +1

I have Maui Jims. There's a reason why they're excluded from all Sunglass Hut sales, yet Sunglass Hut is pretty much the only bricks and mortar store where you can buy them in Australia. I got them from getglasses at a decent price. They usually have 30% off RRP then they had a 30% off on top!

    • +1

Thx for the lead on the Maui jims

      • Just a heads up though, the postage was slow and I half had to chase it up. They said shortage from supplier.

    • +1

That what the sales person told me also. The fact that they are such great quality, they are never on sale. So I paid full price for the Maui and got 40% off my second pair only.

  • When should we expect delivery on these roughly? I ordered last Wednesday and havent got a confirmation email that they have been shipped.
