  • All these AMEX deals, maybe I should get me a AMEX card.

Looks like a good deal, good find.

  • Competition. Busting for market share so more merchants accept them. And also getting cardholders to spend more and unable to pay balance so they can earn 20% interest payments! ;-P but they've offered <3% for 6 months also to just about everyone that has the card for nearly a year.

  • Great deal. Does anyone know how to change the currency billed to $A so that I don't have to pay the exchange fee?

  • Tried to enrol and got this message "Unfortunately this campaign is by invitation only. Please visit https://www.amexconnect.com.au/ for other fabulous offers."

  • I have a AMEX somewhere, maybe I should dig it up… Never used her.

  • yep - bank issued only. i have a CA issued amex and can confirm registration did not work.. same message as @noone

    good post though op! :)

  • Only works with Big 4 issued cards, read the fine print.

  • It won't let me register with my Plat charge card.

I'm negging this - I've subscribed to these Amex deals, got the email inviting me to register, tried to register and it says I'm not invited.

  • Any good items in the store?

  • +1

My card is a CPA/ Amex issued card and can confirm that the registration works fine.
The card should be issued by Amex or the big 4 banks!
    Good post. Thanks OP

    • i just tried again, using the invite link sent directly from amexnetwork (which looked quite generic) but specifying the email address to where that invite was sent.

can also confirm CA issued amex works too. the wife will be stoked :(

  • Does anyone know if this is only for the asia-pac site? Or if it works on the UK/US sits as well?
