    Hi Rep
Any chance of this discount on the Bayonet globe type?

edit: it is also $8 shipping to WA. The title should reflect this.

  • Unfortunately Phillips only have the 8w Screw left.

Need 12.5w or 13w….. 8w just too dim

    • I got the 2 for 23 dollars in woolies when they clearing out the 13W and put in new one of 12.5W

the 13W is equivalent to 18W CFL globe. Quite good.

always amazes me how vendors fail to understand the basics of their market. BC22 Bayonnets are at least 10x more common than E27 Edison Screws in Australia…but so often when I go to buy a 'globe', there's equal space allocated to both varieties and guess which is overstocked and which is low on stock ? It's like they but them in equal quantities but the screws just never move because no-one uses them

That is why OP is trying to offload them.

Maybe they are equally common, but the screw type last longer? You didnt think of that now did ya, Huh huh? Nah, ya didnt. :P

My house is 10 years old and there is only 1 bc22 in the whole place.

Depends on how old your house is. I personally dislike bc22s.

    • BC22 Bayonnets are at least 10x more common than E27 Edison Screws in Australia

      Link to this statistic please.

      • Anecdotal. Probably conservative. Visit 50 houses randomly and ask. Maybe in new estates you might find more than 10% screw but I'd bet good money that in 95%+ of older houses you'll find bayonet.

        • so as time goes by, adoption of E27s will increase, and BC22s will decrease. I am betting people aren't going to fit any more new houses with BC22s unless it's old stock.

Business base their stocks on supply/demand, who is stupid enough to run a business stocking things that has low turnover?

like wise, i will be getting someone to replace the only BC22 socket in the entire house, because it just doesn't make sense that I have to buy a spare BC22 bulb just for that.

  • Where is a good place to buy led's to re fit a unit I just moved into?

  • Exxy!

  • Simple, I just don't like Philips LED's.

      Cool.

      • Story.

  • What are the dimensions of the globes?
