Supercheap Auto "free $10" sale was excellent... where were you guys?

I just went to the SCA sale that I learned about on here (free $10 to spend for SCA+ members, from 6-8pm today only). My wife and I both became members earlier this month, via a "deal" (freebie, really) I learned about on here, where peeps could join SCA+ for free and receive $10 free credit.

So we each had $20 to spend, for free. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, and the place was really well stocked with decent stuff going cheap.

What baffled me, was that there was almost no one there, for the entire 20 minutes we were there (Preston SCA on Bell st, VIC).

I was expecting a full car-park and a throng of OzB'ers … Where were you guys?!?

    • Bought a 1/2 inch drive Toolpro tool kit for $69. Have used Toolpro before and they do their job fine. (Mrs $20 credit towards this)
    • Bought a 12 or 15m extension cord for $2 (my $10 towards this)

      After meticulously reviewing your prior posts, it is clear that the only way that this statement could possibly be true is if you were in fact some kind of 'humanoid-like egg', at the time you posted. No other interpretation is compatible with even remote statistical probability (p < 0.05).
