Looking for any help/suggestions on where my family (Elderly Mother, daughters and grand-daughter) could stay when we go to see Les Miserables on Sunday 19th October (as close as possible to Her Majesty's, Exhibition Street would be ideal). My daughter has had a quick look on Wotif and in her entertainment book but says there's nothing available and suggested there might be something going on in the city that weekend? We are open to all ideas (doesn't have to be a hotel - could be a B & B if priced right but wouldn't want anything too shabby either).

Look at Oaks on Williams if it's available, I booked 4 nights there a few weeks ago for about $410 with a hotelclub discount code.
Thanks Frondono and Strikerzebra but nothing available at either of those venues :-(
It appears there is an International Jehovas Witness convention on that weekend… everywhere is booked out!! Not happy Jan
Last time i stayed in melbourne i stayed at plum apartments collins st. cheaper than most hotels but still pretty decent, much bigger than any hotel room and very central. have a look at some of the apartments closer to the theatre i think there's some pretty reasonable ones for a decent price. I think not 1 night is the cheapest from what I can remember when I booked last time
