I feel like it's the year 2000 again!

I remember the days when men in suits would ride these around the city. So ridiculous.

        Wait this isn't cool anymore?

I was just about to buy one to do that…

        • You work in the city?

@Scrooge McDuck: No. But sometimes have to travel there (Sydney CBD) for meetings. David Jones on Market Street to Googleplex in Pyrmont would be a good 20 minute walk…

Totally agree that is looks ridiculous and yet I've done it a bit of late and i wish it didn't look ridiculous as they're damn handy for me to get the 1km from my place to the tram stop in a hurry. I'm calling on all suited (and slender) men to purchase these. Let's create a movement of suit clad scooter utilising footpath nazis!

So what would a advanced/expert scooter look like?
    This?

    • Look like Hansel (male model of the year)

  • is this suitable for adults in terms of height? ie this is one size fits all (kids and adults)?

these are quite useful for going from train station to some location around the city.

are larger wheels better for all purpose terrain?

  • These aren't really that good for adults.

I'm not heavy by any means, (72kg) and broke the wheels on mine. Sure I used it to commute about 7km but still, the spokes broke and the back wheel just bent.
