After a PC build just Desktop only. i have the mouse, k/b and monitor.
Just wondering if MWAVE does custom builds? i herd MSY and PCCG do not currently do custom pc builds.
and if so my budget is 2200 if possible aiming for SLI gtx 970's. as i have a 4k monitor.
Any help would be greatful cheers.
Mwave is located in Lidcombe and their after sales support is extremely lacking to say the least. I'd much rather get the build from either Umart Sydney (branch available in West Ryde and Epping), IT Estate (Auburn) or MSY (several branches, Ultimo and Auburn).
I asked MSY and they said no they are focusing on their pre built builds. that was 3 weeks ago. Unless its changed??
PCCG also said the same thing. Pretty frustrating.
i can build my pc fine but i want warranty on the entire system. Easier to deal with.

and if you want warranty to be easy make sure you buy from a computer shop that's geographically close. Mwave is not a good choice if you are not in NSW.
I live in South Australia…. Does Umart do Postage etc? they seem to be heavy on Pickup?

Building it is the best part! Half the excitement of getting a new machine is putting it all together with all the unnecessary packing and over the top box graphics.
Can a GTX 970 even push 4k graphics, that is alot of pixels?
With Sli, it can.
That's 50% of the OPs budget gone. I suppose for $2200, Id be hard pressed to spend $1200 on the rest without being silly
msy do it. pretty sure pccg does it as well, its not hrad to put it together yourself, its like adult lego
