20

Hey all,

I stumbled upon this Rudy Project and Challenge Family Sunnies. These sunnies are photochromatic, i.e they change colour with exposure to UV. The light transmission is between 9-74%.

Also, due to this partnership, they are giving out free Spinhawk Sunnies which are worth a minimum of $87 for free with every purchase from the link above.

  • P.S. you dont have to do step 3. Just select step 1 and step 2 and add to cart.

  • Sure they are great sunnies but a bit steep for my blood at over $200. When I ride I wear a set of Tifosi photocromatic glasses I picked up from 6pm.com for around $80 a year ago. Had to use a mail forwarder to get them to Oz but they do great for $80, pretty sure I have seen loads of discount cycling glasses including Rudy Project at Sportpursuit.com over the last few months as Europe heads into winter!

  • I love my RPs and have prescription sets of sports glasses and spectacles for everyday wear. This is a reasonable price but mail forwarding from the US on special usually yields the cheapest price. Transition lenses are best for overcast conditions and not dark enough for full sunlight. Best to have multiple lenses, including transitions, so you can cover you're bases.

  • Challenge Rydon & Noyz come with the new 2015 "Impactx 2" lenses. Comparted to the original lens, this now activates up to 25% faster, Activates behind a window, more stable to tempretures, wider photochromic range of up to 65% and BOAST the new HDR technoogy used in Apple Iphone cameras for superior contrast and preception.

I would be hesitant to order from an Australian operation with such little regard for basic English.

    • Purchased clearance frames from them before without issue. Agreed is not a good look…
