Can someone advice what do i need to look for in a good dash cam? any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
i will be driving alot while travelling and i would like to record the travel and also im case of accident.

I bought this last month from ebay, great quality and price! I use a Samsung EVO class 10 Micro SD 32GB so it runs smoother when recording.

be aware that dash cam footage is not admissible in court in the event of an accident.
Australian privacy laws prevent the recording of someone without their knowledge, so as such footage from a dash cam almost always wont be viewed when fighting a matter in court (its the same reason "you are under video surveillance stickers are all over the place)
This is incorrect and a common mis-interpretation of privacy law.
You cannot film someone in a place where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy eg. in their house or back yard behind a fence.
In public it is perfectly legal to film and the footage can certainly be submitted as evidence in a court of law.
