      Been using one for about a year now. No complaints about it. My computer's on generally 24x7. Can't tell if it's quicker or slower than ordinary HDD but at this price it's a bargain.

          Benchmarks are pretty crappy at hybrid drives 'cause they're not designed to test drives with dramatically different speed segments. Things like bootup times and program load times would be useful. Straight benchmarking programs not so much.

      Good as secondary drives, can extend life of spin drives a bit more than spin disk only drives.
      Had a last gen 7200 version in my Mac mini as secondary drive, no issue.

      Yeah, no drives included (as you'd expect at that price).

      But it's cheap apparently, as staticice shows two vendors selling it for about $140:

      8 gig. it isnt like the WD one where theirs is like two drives, this is one drive with a small SSD cache type.

    Sorry for those who missed out the SSHD deal…
    We just make a new deal of Seagate 500GB SSHD at $79 with free delivery - not as attractive as the 1TB but it is the best we can do now on a SSHD drive.
    (Statistic shows the cheapest is $84 + freight)
