Fark! i just received the email, not getting the keyboard, i've been Ezi-shafted!!

  • +1

I ordered around 2am yesterday, also got email at 9am this morning saying no keyboard, and only send me camisole for $1. Well at least missus got her camisole.

  • Spoke with them on live chat and they said this

"the code used was for customers who registered between 16 August and 31 August 2014. It was only for existing customers and people who received the offer directly from Ezibuy."

    Bummer…

    • +2

that's BS, then they should cancel the whole order instead of just sending out the bangle

  • Has anyone had luck cancelling their order without the keyboard? Not interested in a bangle even if it is only 36c

I was told by the online chat staff to call the Customer Service Manager Carol Thurston on 1800 148 148 to cancel orders.

They assure me that they will be cancelling mine, and that I will receive confirmation of same by email by COB today.

Thanks. Otherwise waste petrol to pick up.

      • I called at 1:25 PM on Friday, 26th of September and they said it was too late to cancel as it had already been sent out.

Only option is to go to the store, pick it up, then return it after they give it to you. So bloody redundant. Also, if they give a refund in cash it means in the end we're out of pocket by 1c (after rounding down the refund to 35c) plus petrol/time.

Bloody hell, what a stuff around.

im not going to go and pick up my bangle & I cbb asking for the refund of <$1

    so they profit! :(

  • They took the Ezi way out cancelling those iPad keyboards

  • Made 1 order for the keyboard w/ a cushion & 2 orders for the speakers w/ a plate set & cushion. Both BT items were 'cancelled', but they are still sending out all the other items (which usually total $23) for $2.63.

  • At first I thumb up with the deal yesterday night. But today I will neg and disappoint with what they'd doing to most ozbargainers. IMO, They're gonna be very hard to regain the reputation and ezibuy will not be considered as a good bargain site from me.

  • My teapot and abella pot order says completed

  • anybody tried to raise a dispute with paypal for the refund?

    • +2

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at this point, since they've promised a refund…but purely on principle I intend to follow it up & if need be raise a complaint with ACCC &/or FT because this is really shoddy business practice IMHO.

      • Agreed. I haven't heard back yet but all I did was send an email.

      • called them couple of times, they assured me its all in progress and should be available for pick up by thursday. Next thing i see is email from ezibuy who cancelled my order given the reason "insufficient supply". Although my wife picked up dresses for herself which was in stock at the time of ordering and infact it still is on their website. I am with you, if you take it up further. Dodgy business they run..!!

  • picked up my bluetooth speaker today. Very happy with it. Sound quality is pretty good.

Does anyone know if we can pair 2 in stereo mode at the same time. Thinking of getting another one

    EziBuy

    Dear Gerard,

You recently placed an order with EziBuy. Unfortunately we were unable to process your order as the promotional code you used was not valid against your customer number. You will be refunded in the manner which you originally paid. Please allow 5-7 working days for the credit to appear.

As the promotional code you used was not valid against your customer number, you may have accidently entered another customer's promotional code. Please double check your promotional code when placing your order again.

When EziBuy sends a promotional code to its customers, the code is linked specifically to a customer's identification number to make sure that it is only used by that customer and is not used by that customer more than once.

Sometimes our promotional codes are distributed by unauthorised websites or are otherwise sent to others in breach of our codes' terms and conditions. As a promotional code is only valid for use by the intended customer recipient, any attempt by another customer to use the code when placing an order with EziBuy will invalidate that order.

Unauthorised website … What an insult to the community that many have a lot of respect! Personally I won't buy anything from Ezibuy even if it is cheap as dirt.

    • +2

I got the same email 1 week after my purchase!
You would think upon checkout it would just say "code invalid".
Surely in 2014 they can make it happen.
So much trouble over a $0.36 bangle I never wanted in the first place.
