Never is a long time. It will happen eventually, it just might not be until the PS5 and the Xboner comes out.
Dropped by my local (North Lakes, Qld) Big W's games section this arvo. They had a White PS4 + Destiny bundle going for $509 and controllers for $64.
Yep I went by JB hifi today and they had a PS4 deal, console + assassins creed 4 and last of us. for 499. I'm not sure if thats a good deal or not.
I think the JB bundle with the last of us and Ass Creed for $500 is good.
I just got it and got the Killzone for 19 bucks previously and now just awaiting a drop in controller prices.

There are. But the best deals will be Christmas, or when an actual game comes out for it that people can get excited about (Bloodborne, Uncharted, Order 1866). I predict deals as low as $349-$399 with PS+ and 2 games.
