Received a refurbished phones from eBay seller

I caught one of the deal and bought a Nokia 920 from ebay and received the parcel this morning, but I am 100% sure what I got is a refurbished one. This can simply be seen from the phone package, which was printed badly. The genuine package NOKIA Lumia 920 is printed in embossing with illuminations, but the package I received is in simple flat printing. I don't want to open the package to see more details of this refurbished one. I failed to check the feedback of other buyers to the seller in details, simply because the seller said he is Australia, but there has been lots of negative feedback to the seller because of selling refurbished phones. I don't think I would trust ebay seller in the future.

had a look at the packaging on ebay auctions and the boxes all look pretty plain.

open the box, does the phone look new? turn it on, has it been used?

    who is the seller

  • If you're 100% sure it's a refurbished unit and was claimed to be "Brand New", then dispute it on Paypal. As long as you have proof, Paypal will side with your case and you'll get your money back. However, you'll have to give the device back.
