Hi guys,
I just received the mobile and when I turn it on it asking me to update the firmware, has anyone done the firmware update specially for grey stock?
As I dont know what is on the update version and dont want to mess it up.
I have bad experience with firmware upgrade on S2 and S3 (both AUS stock) so if any input that would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I wouldn't necessarily say never; I used my S2 for a year after 2.3.6 => 4.0. Depends on what you had installed, and your luck.
But, yea, wiping is the safer option.
Thanks.
If I updated the firmware and found not running well, can I bring it back?
Sometimes its just a simple thing for e.g. can't change the icon on the dock, etc.No I do not think it is easy to roll back without rooting and installing custom ROMs.
The ability to change or not change the icons on the dock was actually apart of the revision history, it is not a bug.

The firmware update should just be Android KitKat 4.4.2 to KitKat 4.4.4

If you do a factory reset after the successful install it should iron out any bugs. Major upgrades (ie Jelly Bean to KitKat) never go smoothly with a factory reset, especially on older phones. Wouldnt worry too much about this one, only a minor subversion update.
