Should I delete this post?By the way, Microsoft wasn't really clear about this…the conditions states the cash back is for 25% off retail price. So potentially you could buy a set from MSY (www.msy.com.au) at a already low price and get cash back on top of it. eg. Wireless optical desktop 2000 at $39, with $25 dollars cash back (99.95 rrp) the whole set costs only $14. Are there any conditions on the MS site that I missed? eg. specific authorised retailers?

Yes. The cashback from MSFT is a bit weird, and 25% off RRP is certainly not a good deal for items that have big margin between RRP and actual price in the shops.
It has been posted before by kcyw earlier this month. And to the one voted "open source is better" — where can I have a GPL'ed keyboard, mouse and webcams downloaded? :) This deal is on Microsoft hardware, and they actually made some descent stuff.
