Selling empty SodaStream gas cylinders?

I'm keen to sell my 2 empty 60L SodaStream gas cylinders as I won't be using them again.

Any ideas or suggestions for how much I should or could sell them for?

Or has anyone ever sent empty ones back for a refund (rather than exchange) to SodaStream? Is that even possible? I can't see any info regarding such an option on their website.

    You will receive a $28.90 refund when returning a 60 Litre cylinder or $40 when returning a 100 Litre cylinder. The credit will be applied to the same credit card you used for the purchase of the gas refill.

      edit - wait, that's assuming you've already purchased a cylinder from them using a credit card. Hence you get the $28.90 refunded back to that credit card when sending back the empty cylinder. In my case, my two cylinders were acquired long ago (one came with the SodaStream machine, one I bought from Myer during a sale).. so I can't send them back as per that 'Exchange/Refill' deal.

      I'll give SodaStream a call tomorrow. Thanks anyway, Davo. I'm sure you're on the right track and I just have to contact them to find out how to arrange it with them :)

      It's kinda funny how there's no info on their site which details an 'opting out' of SodaStream lol. No info on how to just send your cylinders back without getting a refill sent to you in return in an infinite loop of lifelong fizzy commitment haha.

    If you're no longer using the cylinders, does that mean you're also not using the machine itself? If that's the case , why not just sell the lot altogether?

    You will be able to sell them, there handy little suckers for dispensing home brew at partys.
