Ive only recently learnt that Masters and Bunnings have this paint war going on in regards to which paints they sell thanks to taking alliance with either Valspar (Wattyl) or Dulux.

This long weekend I have a HUGE DIY job painting my new home and I wanted to get the right information about where to buy Dulux Wash and Wear paint at its cheapest?
Sorry, but you're mistaken. We've bought Solagard from Bunnings a few times.
The guy at our local Home Hardware told me that Dulux is now only available at Bunnings.
I feel dulux is over-rated, and though a good solid paint, it is purely marketed better than it's competitors.
Wattyl ID, is at worst equivalent, and Valspar is a few notches above (would be hard to find a better retail paint).
More important than the paint, is the prep work! if the surface isn't pristine it doesn't matter what paint you'll use it'll look ordinary.
I didn't think Wattyl was even sold at Bunnings because Westfarmers (Bunnings) got the sh$ts that the parent company of Wattyl had teamed up with Woolies to launch the Masters brand in AU.
