WA Photo Card sufficient ID for domestic flight in Australia with Tiger Air?

Hi all,

Need to renew my passport so thinking of using my WA photo card for ID as I could be "passportless". Just want to make sure this is acceptable with Tiger? I can't get through to them to ask.

    yes it'll be fine. you dont need passport. photographic IDs are accepted for domestic flights.

      I think you can just show your eneloops at the gate and they let you straight on.

    Only time for photo ID for domestics is to pick up a ticket, but echeck in stuff now they phased that out. That's Qantas, not sure about Tiger.

    If it's an official govt doc then yes it should be approved. Tiger Airlines are idiots if they stop anyone flying on domestic flights because they don't have a passport.
