    Not if you plan on doing any work on it. Text won't be crisp on a screen this big at 1920 x 1080.

    Not really. I find full HD inadequate on a 40" screen as a computer monitor. Text and graphics appear a bit fuzzy when viewed up close (due to the resoultion being "stretched" to cover the extra space over a standard 24" or 27" monitor

    you can use it as a monitor for games and movies

    thats what i do.
