UK Mobile Phone Compatability

I have searched on the mobile forum with no luck.
Are UK mobile phones compatible with the Telstra/OPTUS
networks here in Australia?

it would all depend on what network bands they operate on

Yes they are compatible except for Telstra 4g, which uses a different frequency, in that case you would be relegated to 3g.
If you are primarily concerned with making calls. Then you will have no problem.

Kzrocky 3G is fine, i am primarily interested in calls, text and data. But being in the country 4G will not be a player for years .
