Is it only me but I look at the promotion at Woolworths for purchasing cookware as poor value. You would have to spend $100 just to get $5 of a mug for $5 which I would not pay more than that without the stickers. The best "value" you can get is for a bowl at$15 which is meant to be worth $30.
I basically give this promotion a big miss.
The check out chick told me yesterday nobody was collecting the coupons, so I suspect there will be many, many left over at the end of the promo.

To me it's like the fuel discount vouchers - you need to spend $30 in order to save what $2-3 at the pump?
10% off fuel is pretty good, especially those that spend hundreds, even thousands in fuel every few months. I'm not a big fuel user, but I think most of the time it works out to only be about $1 or so. But it all add ups and if you get another coupon, the 6cent or 8cent one they had you can get 10 to 12 cents off. Dropping $1.50/l to $1.38 is pretty good, especially if you take a 42gallon drum in a trailer or ute or van ;-p They limit it to 150ltrs.
Gumtree sometimes has old drums they used to have oil etc in it. Mechanics etc give them away free or sell them for $20 if they're in good nick. They make for great DIY BBQ hack or fire bins to burn papers in or just for warmth in winter out in the backyard.
Every time I see something with that puddin' head's ugly mug on it, I just walk on by…
why would you buy a mug for 5 bucks or a bowl for 10 when u can get a set (set of 4 of bowls, plates and mugs) for like 50 bucks….
It's clearly shit value, way better buying a set of cookware for like 50 and get each piece for about $2.50 each.

Not sure if you have seen in Woolies now but the Janmie Oliver Cookware is now less than half price. Not all stores still have everything but I picked bowls for $3, dinner and desert plates for $4 each.
The prediction was right that wait till after the promotion.
Just wait for it to finish. Price is then dropped for clearance at about 70-80%.
