Does it work with iOS 8 ???

    • +2

Valid question. Would be nice to know if we have to throw it in the bin soon? (assuming it even lasts that long!)

No shipping cost and currency is in AUD now. $1.95 free shipping. Ship from Au, delivered in days.

      • Cool. Just purchased 5. Paying a bit more than eBay cables which I could have got like 20 cables for $10 but this one states it works with IOS8, so let's hope it can sync and transfer on the pc. Hope these are good quality cables having a rrp of $18 otherwise… back it goes :)

      • Thanks, also bought a few to try. I do note that obviously the contact gmail is yourself… so I hope that these are genuinely good quality cables …. that said obviously I doubt (correct me if I"m wrong) any cable worth RRP of $18 or so would then justifiably be on sale for $2, but i would hope that not expecting the moon but that these will work decently.

Think you should disclose that you are the representative/store though, although no requirement to do so.

        • Hmm order number is in the low 20,30s, and hxlreal only starte dposting september 2014… beginning to wonder if it was worth the risk buying off the website. would hope it's just a new venture…

perhaps safer to cop up the extra $0.50 for the cord posted in the original post.

Then again if this doesn't go through I'll just raise a paypal dispute and get the money back.. no biggie but would be a waste of time and stop me from buying from the OP. Hope for all our sakes the $1.95 alternative is just a good deal…. and not shoddy cabling or new operator.

          Excuse my paranoia.

        • @SaberX:
If not, they'll be negged into oblivion and never deal here again!

        • @Snoop:

yeah but unfortunately one could just create a new account in under 5 mins though?

        • @SaberX:
But he'd also have to change his website. OzBs are not a forgiving or forgetting bunch! ;)
Ps. The Mrs needs another, so I'll prob grab one from them too!

    • Are the cables decent quality that resembles original OEM?
It's saying RRP is $18, so you'd expect $18 worth of quality.

Can't be labeling it as discounted from $18 and selling a poor quality cable.

computer may not recognize device via cable

    Computer says no…

  • its cheaper in ebay

    Length: 100cm

which is 1m, changing the unit will not make it longer :p

OP - please put 'for charging only' in title

  • Cable applicable for use with wall chargers only; computer may not recognize device via cable

No deal - Product can not even be guaranteed of working properly!
There's better deals around for something that may also not work!

  • I had one that looked like this and it took forever to charge my iPhone 5. It might have been 2m though. If it's from the same manufacturer, then it has very poor quality wire.

  • Just wondering - but why would a cable not be compatible with usb computer charging or the IOS software as compared to a wall charger?

Do lesser quality cables not hold the usb charge, or is there some other reason which points back to quality? Just wondeirng as I've always noted cheaper usb cables, and other forms of cables via ebay but never really understood why one would be $6 for say usb a to usb b, and another $2, and why some that are razor thin wires via a retractable cord, are sold and why wouldn't everyone buy that for space convenience? Now that i have it I't's made me wonder if I"m losing sound/data quality in a smaller wire to be retracteable than a permanent , more expensive usb cord.

But yeah just curious how it works.
