    I love lamp

    • How do you like ApacheFriends' Windows-based LAMP…?

And - to the OP - where are your PRICES?!?

  • Price in title please, not the discount.

  • Cheaper (I.e. free) to just google. You can find how to set up a LAMP server on your computer, or setting up a LAMP server on EC2, or even easier, how to use Bitnami to set it up for you!

    • In a communication age everything is free on the web the question is does free content fit all users. if it did non there would be no more people like me going out of there way to create educational content to help people that find technical topics hard.

Every person on earth knows live in a Google age. Point is options. supporting an indie educational company that is creating content and not supported by large cooperation to me sounds like something a developer should relate to instead of be sarcastic about. Point is if you feel comfortable in creating and building up servers why try to kill a project that toke me a month to develop just because you feel you can do it on your own on Google?

Not every person likes doing it on there own. Building this course took a lot of research and simplifying a lot of complex topics and making it accessible to the masses. as you probably know for me to be able to create more content and support the costs of production i need to charge for it. When you go to buy Rosetta stone for $500 or what ever you don't complain even though what they do is available online as well - they offer an experience - some will opt to use other experiences its given but why try to deter people away. just seams mean.

      • p.s i would add that i created this course because i myself found the topic complex and had to do a lot of research to simplify a lot of complex topics weeding out a lot of information to make this course easy to follow even if you never opened up a server in your life.
