Will the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 go on sale during the end of year sales?

I currently really want to buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but i have a really tight budget. I have heard about the 10% student discount at the Microsoft store but my budget is only about $1k and i don't really want to get the standard entry model (i3/64gb) because of the low storage and the lower model processor.

Any ideas if the pro 3's will go on sale at the end of the year? The model that i currently am looking to get is the (i5/128gb) but right now that + a type cover is still about 1.2k which is way over my budget.

      I hope it does but sometimes sales are underwhelming.

    It won't go on any sort of real sale until the next version is about to drop and they need to clear stock.

    You will more than likely be able to pickup the Surface2 pro at a better price then.

    Or maybe they would drop the price when the new Mac air is released??
