I need a new printer, inkjet preferably due to the lower cost (using refillable cartridges).
Just wondering if anyone has had experience with home/office multifunction printers that can do single pass duplex scanning? I have an ADF and my experience in duplex scanning via ADF is that it jams a lot.
I use scanning quite frequently as I digitally store everything these days (apart from the most important documents). Printing documents is also high on priority list, photos not so frequent at all.
One printer comes to mind - the Brother MFC-J4710DW. However, having owned a Brother printer in the past and being not very impressed with the software, print quality and support, I'm hesitant to repeat the same mistakes again. Canon, HP, Epson are for me, the better brands to stick with.
Any thoughts and experiences?
