Tiger Airways $100 vouchers on eBay

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck selling these on eBay?

I've got two to sell and think that with the current deals on now that it might be a good time to put them on ….

Sure, just list them under the 'scalping' category.

  • how much were you intending on selling em for? and are they name transferrable/stackable?

      I can confirm it's stackable.

  • I got these from their Infrequent Flyers promo a while back and was hanging onto them thinking I would use them.

I have also now also posted in Classifieds as I see a number of others have posted/sold theirs here. Will be happy to give eBay a miss :)

From the terms and conditions on the voucher:

"Voucher must be redeemed by 30th Sept 2014. Voucher can be used up to available schedule displayed in the system and is subject to seat availability. Voucher is valid for redemption on one single transaction only. All vouchers and unused credit are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash and bookings are subject to prevailing terms and conditions on our website."

  • I put mine on ebay yesterday Buy it now $70.

Within 10 minutes I had a $60 offer and within 1 hour it sold for $70.

  • You might want to ask this guy for tips. They've sold 4 according to eBay history.

  • bought some for $75

  • We occasionally sell clients tickets to USA who can't fly on ebay (although Gumtree has no charges & ebay charges are getting ridiculous)

Some clients either can't get or don't have travel insurance, but we can do name changes for a fee, right up until a business day before departure.

If new passenger doesn't want to change dates, it's around $200.

So we act as a conduit between client & new passenger & funds go thru our trust a/c.

I'm not sure I would do it person to person.

If you pay via Paypal with credit card there maybe some protection, but don't assume there would be. Paypal insurance sounds great until you read the exclusions.

So, suggest if a sizeable amount, eg. ticket to USA or Europe that's $1000-$3000 maybe approach an agent about selling the ticket(s).

Yes they will charge $100 or more, but might sell it quickly & easily to one of their regular clients.
