    Sorry I don't agree! I've loved the Drones version for years and Missy Higgins' 'lounge' version of it has removed the real edge to the song that Liddiard puts in it.

    Not to mention I've been trying to put friends onto the Drones for years and suddenly they're turning around and telling me they now like this song!

      Ha, yeah. Don't get me wrong, I think I've killed my hearing listening to the Drones version over & over at extreme volumes while air-guitaring/singing (growling/screaming/yelling/throat-clearing) to it… so messy, so gritty, so appropriate for the subject matter… but there's a different emotion going on in Missys version that just seems to make it soar for me.

      Her name, Melissa, was replaced by Missy no doubt to appeal in its cuteness to tweens who would proclaim "she's a great artist". It is not arbitrary but, i agree, stupid.
