One way Brisbane-London January 2015

Hello OzBargainers,

im just seeking some advice from all the bargain hunters. im planning on travelling back over to London (from Brisbane) on 17-Jan (one way). i cant leave any earlier than the 17th but if cheaper flights can be found within a week after the 17th id be happy to push the flight a bit (but nothing too drastic)

ive been looking on Skyscanner myself and a friend from STA travel gave me a quote for $839AUD on EVA air. she mentioned also that emirates had a similar flight for around $950 but that was just chat and she didnt actually give me a print out for it.

any suggestions or thoughts on these prices? whether its worth waiting for a sale or something? im in the mind set of just scooping these up while theyre within my budget and i have the cash.

    Check out flying from Singapore (or elsewhere in Asia such as Kuala Lumpur) to London. Quick search brought up a few flights from Singapore to London via India for about $550 in late January. If you can tie it in with a cheap Scoot or Air Asia fare you could save a couple of hundred. Depends how much convenience is important to you I guess :-)
