I didnt think the AusPost ones would be as good as this… in fact, I was kind of expecting something akin to kitchen scales from Auspost, lol. I bought one as a Christmas gift for someone I know who travels all the time. +1

The demand caused by people from this site probably caused them to run out mid way through, so some people will probably get them while others miss out.
This is the worst system I have found. They update at midnight when less people are around and by the time you wake up it is sold out. I think they are operating from some where else not from AU. Here's a tip for them update it at 6am and then it can give a lot more people chance to buy their stuff. And also they seem to have very little stock of every thing. I do not bother to go to this website anymore.

If they are updating at midnight when less people are around and it is selling out then there are still enough people around.
It could have something to do with them trying to minimise server load
Suppose you've ever used Zazz or any of the other one-sale-a-day sites that update at midnight. It's part of the hype/buzz, it updates at midnight and encourages people to stay up a bit later just to see what's coming out. I'm still up at midnight, definitely not 6am though!

Yeah i agree with their stock levels… im just guessing but, it seems they only have a few hundred in stock, surely if they ordered x 2 or x 3 more than their profits would increase by that much?

No it does not go against itself but confirms my notion that the stock levels are always very low .
Also they must not need good servers as they know they will never hit the peak volume!
