Same here, thanks OP!
cheers
and remember i before e except after c :P
Thank you & I beg to differ….
caffeine, deicide, neighbour, leisure & weigh.
yeah there's a bit after that saying that's something about "a" sounding
but..
deicide
:P
not sure if true, but apparently there are more words that break the rule, than follow it.
@100:
well it's more like i after e after c ><
@CVonV:
yeah, thats what i meant… i think
non-phonetic languages are stupid.Always remember the phrase "Their weird veins." when you're thinking about how inconsistent the English language is.
@FrankMcFuzz: I count myself lucky every single day that I know English as a first language.
Weird!
None of those examples break the rule as quoted above though?
Some actual I before E except after C real exceptions would be:
science
ancient
society
efficientBecause the C is directly before the I and E.
There's exceptions to every rule, but teaching a young person to spell properly by using "I before E except after C" is still a useful aide imo. They'll get more words spelt correctly than incorrectly, and as long as you cover off on a few common exceptions like above, the rule is still pretty good.
The exception list only grows a lot bigger when you ignore the "except after C" part, or include words most people will never use.
i before e except when you run a feisty heist on a weird beige foreign neighbor.
LOL!
but… neighbour* here in aussieland ><
Thanks!
it's expired..
Tuesday 10am Syd time
Page says the offer is available for 16 more hours for me
Stop time travelling.
Thanks….got a copy for myself and gifted it to a few friends
Never has reloading a gun in a FPS been so much fun.
Really interesting game, and worth checking out just for the concept.
This is new to me…
Do you have to do soemthing special to reload other than empty your mag?
Each time you start the game with a random pistol in a random state.
You could start with a semi-auto pistol with the safety on, a half-full magazine but no round in the chamber and it's up to you to check and make sure everything is ready. The hot keys are kinda clunky, but it's cool to play with.
Every month or so I boot this game up to play it for an hour. I absolutely love it. The FPS mechanics are so INCREDIBLY solid. If you're interested in game design even a little, this talk that David Rosen (creator of Receiver, founder of Humble Indie Bundle) gave about procedural animation at GDC this year is awesome.
Thank you so much!
You can also get a second copy for free as a gift. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble logging into steam through humble bumble, and would really appreciate someone gifting me a copy. Please send me a pm if you can help.
You probably already have one, but if anyone else needs one:
https://www.humblebundle.com/?gift=q2e5ewTfBRbkh3x2I think you can get a gift multiple times, I've done it twice now.
They probably don't mind giving this game away for free as it doesn't look like it took long to make.
Thanks Moral H :)
Damn, went to bed early and missed it. Anyone else? Please pm me and I will post here when I have one.
If anybody has a spare gift key they could to donate to me, please PM me, thanks heaps! :)
I've wanted to play this game for ages, can't believe its free now. Fantastic giveaway, thanks OP
