I'll be flying to Singapore and Malaysia next week. I need a Prepaid sim for calls between me and my sister who is also traveling with me. I don't care if it has international calls or data just need local calls. What is the cheapest option for me?

How long will you be at those places?
Thanks for the tips. I'll be in Singapore for 3days and 5 in KL.
For Malaysia most prepaid sim packs would do the job if you're just after calls. Digi, Maxis, Celcom, UMobile etc. Depending on the calls you make, a RM30(AUD$10) prepaid sim pack from any of the above should do the job.
Got back from a recent Singapore/Taiwan trip and came across an Singapore info counter with StarHUB SIM packs available - just outside arrivals. The SIM packages seemed very reasonable (for 3 or 5 day plans). You can also pick up a NETS card (tap and go) for their MRT from the same desk.
Seems you can roam on these sims through U-Mobile in MAsia … http://goo.gl/rkAwx6
I fly to Malaysia regularly, and pick up a local sim whenever I am there. Digi is cheap, but data is slow. Maxis is better but more expensive, but they do have promotions running from time to time. Umobile is cheap too, but I haven't tried them. Should be ok since they use Maxis' network. Cheap is also relative depending on how long you need the number for, eg. a week vs a month. Some prepaid plans are cheaper for short term, but cost more over a month. Check out their charges on their respective websites. :)
Also, Singapore has wifi everywhere, I didn't need to get a sim when I was there last. See if you can get a visitors wifi login from the information counter at Changi Airport, that should last you for a few hours travelling around Singapore.
