after 9 years with Optus, i finally jumped ship to Telstra. they still have preorders available if you wanted a plan. The whole $200 credit for changing over, better coverage and being able to trade in my phone in 12months time for a brand new one (same model and colour) drew me in.
Better coverage I agree IF it works in your area. When i moved to my new place Telstra was shocking. Calls not connecting/dropping out, painfully slow data….Then I discovered Vaya. Very happy with them
Telstra wide coverage… Super congested network here.. Data we just jumped to IINet 1/2 the price 2gb more data.

Bought a guitar and amp that I had my eyes on for a couple of weeks. A nice little 15% off bonus. I also purchased a couple of DVDs but without the 15% off as I couldn't find anything else to bundle up and lift the price to over $50. When you get that feeling of 'hmm, I just need to spend $X more to get $Y discount' you know the promotion is going to cost you instead of saving money. I didn't bundle up my transactions into one PayPal transaction as the guitar was in AUD$ while the DVDs were US$.

The promotion code CELEBRATE15 was still working for me when I just tried it @7am this morning. Pity my paypal login from within ebay is still not working, so I got nothing that I wanted (spa supplies, dog supplies were on my list)

I'm down around a thousand bucks from my first two transactions, still contemplating a third but battling a bit of purchase guilt, dipping into savings when I shouldn't be etc. Bought a killer loopstation + cables and an air purifier, both things i've wanted for ages so happy with that, might not use the third transaction but the eventide h9 is looking pretty tempting, albeit a proper wallet raping.
Nothing, don't know if my Rego being due soon is holding me back or the fact that I can't really find anything I need. The 2 tempting things though are an iPad Air & a Chromebase, but I think it might be worth the wait till Cyber Monday seeing as I don't need them just yet.

Went mental on this promotion, turns out the Versace Vase that I scored for $265 (cheapest was $450 here in ripp off down under) was refunded as the item was not in stock until October. I told the seller I would have been happy to wait because now I miss out on the 15% discount, the tanking Aussie Dollar, and eBay support staff told me once a refund has been issued there is nothing you can do it… thanks for nothing eBay!
