This is finally at the price + accessories I want but the new PS4 remote play is really tempting especially with GTA V Online coming out…
Hopefully the Z3 comes with a set like this as well (gonna regret getting a midyear change when the Z4 comes out)
Not convinced by the remote play for the Z3, I read that it has to be on the same network as the PS4 which makes it pretty limiting really.
Watch out with these docks, they have a magnet to hold the phone on, it seems to cause some issue with the charging port on the phone. The thing is not strong enough to hold itself and loosens up each time you remove the phone from the dock. Eventually coming out and leaving a hole, it happened to my phone and from google it's a common problem I am using an official sony dock.
I have a Z2 and after the random crack on the front and now hearing about this, I don't think I'll be jumping on another Xperia for a while. Especially after a Sony customer consultant told me it was my own fault and that the "screen was not designed to crack randomly". Cheers Sony!

Can anyone coment one the earphones?
I have gone through 3 Xperias and my Z just broke last week so thinking about replacing it.
One thing I notice over the years was that the headphone jack has been reducing in power output meaning that the music is not as loud as the previous model. Seems this is done to protect hearing, but it has gone a bit far. Windy day, the noise of wind around your ear drowns out the music.
Is this trend continuing, has it stabilised, or have they improved it?

Purchased this yesterday over the G3 and Galaxy S5.
Going off specs the above phones are better, but i like the look of the sony phone and the camera, headphones and dock is a plus.
Also for that price you could probably sell it on gumtree for $475-$500 if it doesn't work out.
Was waiting for the Nexus 6 but they are moving way to slow
Good find OP - My Z1 has a cracked screen so I've been using it with only a bottom third of the screen! Waiting for the Z3 but at this price and specs (and availability!) it's an easy choice. Cheers.
