Hallo thar! I recently got a cute little NUC desktop built for me however it didn't include a wireless card which sucks. I'm currently using an old TP-LINK 54mbps Wireless G Adaptor (Model no: TL-WN422G) I had lying around from about 2008? Well my problem is I have some serious buffering issues streaming videos to my TV from this desktop whereas I never had a problem with my laptop I was using just a week before. My router is a plain old Telstra jobby which is 2.4ghz I think. Will a better/different USB wireless adapter help this? Does anyone have any suggestions for a USB adapter because I can't really see myself fluffing around under the hood of this NUC.

I think that anything that confirms to a newer wireless standard will be superior (to G) as long as the corresponding router it connects to uses that same standard. I didn't spend allot of time researching, but this website has a pretty simple explanation of the standards: http://homenetworkadmin.com/wireless-b-vs-g-vs-n-vs-ac-diffe…
