  • Awesome idea.
    a. How does warranty claims work in above scenario?

    b. What is cheapest from Australian seller?

Dont we expect them to drop in price when nexus 6 comes out?

    • a. One needs to check with individual seller for warranty.
      b. Cheapest from Australian sellers was $500+ when i checked last time. Feel free to post link if you find better deal.
      c. I created thread for 14th Sep Ebay sale, and by that time Nexus 6 won't be coming in market..so forget about Nexus 6 for ebay deal.

beware of the 32 GB variant as they don't specify the model number (they have D800, D802, LS980).
You are lucky if you get D802 version (which supports 1800 frequency) other models may not work in Australian 4G Networks.

    • Good spot.

  • i asked the seller from your post about warranty. It seems a bit risky getting these.
Probably stick to kogan. Ebay listing also mentions that it might not work in your country :)

  • As with any imported item… no warranty and no regular consumer protection.
You must add up the value of that to you?

    • +1. Only grey import I ever bought was from Kogan (ironically lg nexus). It died and had to claim warranty. Lucky it was Kogan and not just random ebay seller. To my surprise they took product back (paid for shipping) and just gave new phone. But I just had to wait long time and go throug hassle.
For me, I would skip it and pay premium for local warranty.

  • Found this for $365. They australian but selling imports. Said they will cover 12 month warranty themselves.
    What do people think? Reliable?

If Aus stock and warranty is important to me, does anyone know which seller on eBay I should be looking at?
