Personally I'm getting the iPhone 6. The 6 plus is only slightly smaller than a galaxy note 3.
Can't use it with 1 hand and feels like you're talking into a brick.Unfortunately the 6 plus has better specs like battery and resolution. Depends on what you need out of the phone.
If you aren't locked to iOS and don't have any requirements I'd have a look at some of the android phones out there.

With the 6 plus, I don't need a tablet to go with so I'll save a fair bit of space and money.

Seen both. Not even close, 6 Plus.
If I didn't already have an iPad I'd have been tempted with the 6+. Gave it a pocket test in JB-HiFi, just way too big to carry around, maybe coming from the 4S i'm not ready for the step up in size. It is pretty thin and light though, so it's not all bad.

Iphone 6 all the way. The 6+ is too big I reckon and too expensive like all iPhones. Hoping there is a good deal on ebay over the weekend as I don't want to be locked into some ridiculously expensive two year contract with those telcos. They never offer decent plans anymore and the prices are sky high especially for these new iPhones.
