Be aware that mattresses have some of the highest profit margins in Australian retail.
Getting 50% of RRP is not hard to negotiate in a store, particularly in the larger sizes.
I'm not saying this is a bad deal… just be careful and do your research.
I agree, I encourage all my potential customers to research our prices and products with others.
Retail stores definetly over charge on bedding product and mattresses, so be careful and always compare prices.
Price and quality wise http://www.bedsonline.com.au is much better.
