We looked at a couple of places today such as Snooze, Woodbury and there were some nice designs, but they were a little to 50% above our budget.

Tried browsing Gumtree? Some nice frames on there that would still be in great condition. I bought my beautiful, solid timber queen frame years ago for $200 (practically brand new too and was still in the stores for $2k at the time lol).
