Char-Broil Quantum Infrared 2 Burner BBQ with cover for $148.
Cheapest I've ever seen. Was on special for $199 a few days ago and usually retails for $250.
Stainless steel body, IR grill, porcelain coated grill plate, 10k BTU per burner, electric ignition, space to attach a rotisserie make it the perfect BBQ for the price.

Definitely yes. I can see the negs coming but I will put my money on this without thinking twice.
Thanks..at this price it is definitely a better option than Kmart/BigW generic bbq..Thanks Dealayed, I'll stop "dealaying" the buy ;D
This can cook with lid open??
Yes. 21000 BTU from the 2 burners
We bought this 3 years ago, we had a good four burner but got rid of it as we wanted a smaller BBQ. It is a great BBQ, works well. The flat plat is enamelled and the grill side is all stainless. It has two temp gauges, one for each burner. The say it's IR, dont know about that but it cooks all meats really good, compared to my sisters Weber Q 200, this is better - cooks better and is built better (and I reckon looks better)
we paid a lot more than this price, something like $399.
The brand is a big US brand for BBQs.
this price is an absolute bargain. It even comes with a BBQ cover included.IR means that the grill is designed such that only heat reaches it and not the flames. It get very hot as the heat is trapped and because the flames don't reach the surface there will never be flare ups and the meat cooked this way will not dry up.
thats right the stainless grill part also has another stainless perforated base under it. Works well.
No delivery to Adelaide?
Thanks OP - picked one up. Looks great for the price and has some neat features. Any tips on making sure you actually use the damn thing?
Excellent price but gets a LOT of 1 star ratings on Amazon.
Looks like there are a two different versions (commercial and domestic), the more favourably reviewed one on Amazon had a porcelain grill plate which was supposedly much easier to clean.
Reviewers are reviewing both which didn't help terribly. But amazed it's so expensive in the US and we're getting it roughly half the price over here.

for further 5% off.I didn't include that as some have still not received the e voucher from the last deal. This promotion runs till Sunday only so I didn't wanna give you any false hopes.
Have masters got any in-store $10 off paper vouchers for fathers day? They usually do.
Thanks OP got one this morning.
Picked up my bad boy this afternoon. Now to find some time to slap together, thanks OP!
I'm using AirTasker. $30
Does anyone have experience cleaning the stainless steel IR grill? I had a look over the weekend and all the tiny holes look like they'd clog every time and be a complete pain to clean.
Also the one sales assistant at Masters mentioned this model had a self cleaning button (i.e. overburn which chars everything??) I thought this button looks suspiciously like the ignition button, but what would I know… Anyone care to comment on this feature? Does it use a lot more gas?
No such thing as overburn. But the stainless thingy is fine on ours.
There is a self cleaning over burn feature mentioned in the manual, but its not on this model.
I've only used mine once, but that bottom plate with the holes gets damn hot so any crap that hits it gets burned off instantly. Seems like a really good design. Will see how it goes.
Price is showing $198 for me at the Box Hill store today. Anyone else care to confirm? Looks like I might go back to the Weber Baby Q if they are the same price.
It was a promo price of 148 for Father's Day so finished yesterday.
This is a ripper of a barbie. I'm really enjoying that ir grill thingo. No flare-ups, just nice smoke from the vaporised fat.
Even lamb loin chops get cooked perfectly. There's so much fat on them that my old BBQ would always burn them a bit due to flare ups, in spite of anything in tried. This just set and forget and they come out perfect.
I've done chops, steak, and bacon, and they all come out perfect.
I wonder if you can buy just the IR grill part somewhere? Thats all u really need.
Hey mate - are your plates porcelain as well? I'm asking as my unit says "commercial" model all over it and the US "commercial" model has cast-iron, not porcelain plates. Highly doubt Masters gave me the wrong one as they don't have both listed, but just curious as I haven't assembled it yet :)
Yes the hotplate part is vitrious enamel aka porcelain. Its cast iron dipped in porcelain and will last forever unless it gets chipped.
Does anyone know if this brand is worth getting over a weber baby-q?
