Surprised no one has brought this up yet.
Obviously they are feeling the pain from Netflix.

"Entertainment" will still be compulsory won't it?
Either way, I'm paying $80 for sport, hd and basic so I'll either drop to $60 or pay the same price and add movies or something. Nice they finally made a change.
Of course if they don't allow switches, looks like I might cancel and get my wife to sign up on the cheaper deal once the sport season is over.
What do you mean by "Entertainment" being compulsory? I only have Essentials and Sport (plus HD), which sounds like the same as you.

Under the new packages:
Entertainment
Sport
Entertainment Plus
Movies
Docos
Drama
Kids
"Entertainment" is the new "essentials"
Oh, OK. I didn't bother to check the new packages. I thought "Entertainment" referred to the old naming convention.
Nope. Never gonna give Foxtel a cent. Murdoch has enough as it is.
Got rid of the Fox box couple years ago, couldn't stand the massive amount of adverts and repeat series, neb agin, thank you Netflix.
lol they can only try.
Last time I signed up with pay tv it was under false pretenses from the rep. Ads and free, or paid and no ads, I don't think there is room for both. And if you have to have ads they should be quality ones. All I remember are oodles of premium mobile content ads and other tacky shit.
How's $25 competitive against Netflix? Nice try, but I'm afraid not good enough.
