Price should be same as Note 3, $850 and above at local store, $700-$800 for grey import. I already have the Note 3, so unlikely to upgrade but it does look very impressive especially if combined with the Oculus VR.

    • yeah i hope its around $700-$800 mark

  • Galaxy tab 2.0 had some proprietary port BS that wouldn't give me HDMI out… Check for that before you blow a couple hundred dollars.

  • I like galaxy note edge more, but don't think I will upgrade cant afford it. still on note 2

    • The edge is innovative but I am concerned that you will keep touching the edge by accident and it may cause a lot of issues, need to check out at the shop. I usually buy grey import from ebay or kogan or other importers and I never buy any phones that is over $600, but I agree it is an expensive hobby if you wants to have the latest when it was launched.

      • yeah was thinking the same, especial if you are right handed. I was talking with one of my friends. they should do two versions of it. one left edge and the other one right edge lool. we will wait until it hit the store and see.
If the grey stock around $600 will be a good a pice I may jump to it. Right now thinking to upgrade to LG g pro 2 but still waiting for a good deal. after using the note 2 for 2 years. I feel any screen less than 5.5inch is small.

        • If the grey stock around $600 will be a good a pice I may jump to it.

For Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (released end of September 2013), it took around 6 months for the grey-import price to drop under $600. I guess you'll be looking at March next year for under $600 Note 4.

  • The Note 4 ultra-high resolution is no advantage unless you plan to use it with the Oculus\Gear VR headset — if anything it will consume more battery power and performance than a standard res. screen. That reason makes the Edge even more attractive with almost the same size screen and a lower price.

  • looks like a small incremental upgrade..

    • camera is better, screen resolution is better, got a new edgy design , very good fast processor - small incremental upgrade?

      • Isn't that pretty much the definition of incremental upgrade mate, all existing stuff bumped up slightly.

What features are completely new? Please don't say VR, as I can get that with a google io cardboard today on my android already…

        • hmm, Ok agree with you mate
