If you want a cheaper price ask another friend to go with (oldest kid's friend, your brother, sister etc.) as almost always it will be cheaper to have two cabins (4+2) than having a family cabin. In some instances kids are free so you would be paying 4 adult prices for 6 people.
Also, keep in mind where you are, and that this is rip-off paradise. Get the hint?

October is the sweetspot for Med cruising, less crowds, cooler temperatures and shoulder pricing.
