    Thanks for posting OP.

Just a heads up for those unaware of how it works though, dont leave it till the 20th to order!
You need at least a week to book in your delivery day.

I went to order last time with their winter offer, and even though the expiry date hadnt arrived I couldnt book a delivery date prior to the cut off.

So basically, get in now… dont wait until it gets closer because you'll miss out.

  • Apparently the reason you lose weight is portion control, some friends started it, then quit a week later because the meals were so small, so unless your willing to eat less its a waste of money.

Eating less helps you lose weight?

The frozen meals are not too bad. What did it in for us was things like what fruit they provided. Mandarins over and over and over again that were dry and crappy. Sour dough bread with everything which we did not like. And the reality is you can put together all that stuff easily yourself.

Go to their website, download their menu and DIY it ozbargain style! There are plenty of frozen meals in Woolies/Coles to substitute.

Using something like Lite n Easy doesn't actually teach you anything either.

  • Tim. A girl at work has it. The frozen meals are 500gms under 400cals. Thats a fair bit.

An alternative for people who are "home based" is Meals on Wheels.
You pay $7.50 for a home delivered "hot" meal which includes a cup of soup, main course and a dessert. Of course this is a community service, but for older people it provides a "house call." You can always heat the meal a bit more if you are fussy. They do provide frozen meals when required and are very friendly.
The choice is not of the standard of lite and easy, but it is a good quality service for what they do. You sometimes get an extra soup. The lady who interviewed my Mum for her needs, after her heart attack, was exceptional. My Mother is very fussy of a European background, so I actually eat the meals.
If you have a picture of people out the back, somewhere peeling vegies, think again. It is a mass produced and commercial operation, but this ensures hygiene.
