Hi guys, I need a new phone, would like an android one. My budget is around $300 I can add another $50 max. I would like a phone no bigger than 5" and preferably around 4.5". Would like to have more than 1gb ram. I would prefer if it had warranty, but not a big deal. I was looking at the htc desire 610. Just wanted to see what you guys thought

I could bump it up to around 380, would you recommend the nexus 5?
Nah, would rather get the Lg G2 if you are prepared to spend $380. Battery life is great, camera is also great, double tap to wake gesture is also very useful.
The phone is 5.2 inches but because it has such thin bezels, its still small enough to hold.
I went from a 4.7 inch LG O4XHD to a 5.2 G2. My first impressions were that it's borderline OK size and I wouldn't want a phone any larger than the G2.
Other alternative, if you are after a somewhat compact device, is the Xperia Z1 Compact., measuring 4.3 inches. It will go on sale tomorrow at Jb Hifi. This will tick all your boxes if you're after a smaller sized but powerful phone.
I recently switched from IOS to Android and went with the Moto G LTE XT1039 to 'learn' the Android system.
Decent phone, no complaints. I Paid $218 @ TGG.
Hard to do much better than the Moto G, even at $300.
