I got this information from Kingston website
http://www.kingston.com/flash/dt_chart.asp
So standard means faster than "20MB/sec read, 10MB/sec write"? The previous gen was slow as man!!
No, I think standard means "too slow to print". ie. much less than 10MB/sec.
We did a test ourselve
Read 23.239MB/s
Write 6.821MB/s
Excellent - I was after a new one so the 4GB will replace the other 3 1GB I now have
Would like one that is Windows Readyboost compatible…!
almost all flash drives are readyboost compatible
This one is not, according to the kingston link posted by OP.
Basically, I was politely hinting that I would like a faster one :-)
You do realise if you have more than 1Gb of RAM (which virtually all PC's built in the last 6 years do) you'll see virtually no performance gain with Vista's ReadyBoost?
I don't get why they overhype this gimmicky tweak as a lifesaver for people with slow PC's. Do you realise how slow USB access times are compared to your computer's RAM?
good deal. They have this 8GB for $26 (including shipping) as well.
