Who CAN play / win prizes?

Only legal residents of Australia over the age of 14 can play.
For Partner prizes, if the winner is less than 18 years his or her parent / legal guardian must claim the prize on his or her behalf.

Who CANNOT play / win prizes? (Including Instant Food wins)

  1. McDonald’s employees and their immediate family members.
  2. Employees and immediate family members of any of the prize partners.
  3. Any person or company involved in the development, production, distribution
    or verification of prizes for this game promotion and their family members

Other stuff
Only ONE McDonald’s food prize per transaction / person is permitted and must be used on their next transaction.

    Hmm this looks like the paddle pop competition where one of the pieces is impossible to get. In this case it will hard to find a particular station or street. The instant win prizes are good if you like McDonalds food I guess.

      I've heard that one state would have a piece that no one would ever get but another state would have that piece in common and vice versa

    I remember when I was young, my uncle used to get me to get 2 x Big Macs all the time (dodgy) thanks to this thing

    There were some examples on the tray paper (which also doubles as a game board), so he'd cut them out and stick it to the backing of an original sticker (a common street etc).

    While I wouldn't do it now (I'm 27), I still think it's funny that no one ever noticed.

    Were Maccas employees and their family members always excluded from playing this in the past?

    Seems a bit crap for them that they're not allowed :( Poor peeps.

      yes they have always had this clause but its not like they are able to verify or enforce for common ones but you can always take your tickets to another location or have someone else lodge for you.

      I don't know how mcdonalds can exclude you because someone you know works for them anyway. I wonder if such a case has ever gone to court

      I think they only do it incase of incidents where persons are claiming the larger prizes

    Is anyone able to list all the attraction pass venues that it can be used at? I know the merlin group is included but the T&C's seem to suggest there is more than that lot.

      I have changed my normal order to a large cheeseburger meal (4 tickets), which comes at less than $6 (varies from store to store).

      I usually find that most times I'll win a food prize too, and can use that there and then if im still hungry after the meal.

        Cheers - it's a bit frustrating as I keep trying to get the monopoly tokens but I am on a 50% hit rate for instant win prizes. I could claim them but am just giving it to the homeless people or beggers.
