So I finally gave my black HTC One XL to get the cracked screen repaired at the local mall. Repair cost $135.
Phone came back with screen fixed but charging port not working. Took it back and after a week they said they are unable to fix the issue.
They are now offering to give me a 2nd hand white HTC handset instead. Is there any issues in? What do I need to check ?
Similar condition phone but in white. And no, they would keep my phone as they are swapping it.
UPDATE: Ended up getting a refund for the screen repairs, $100 extra and my phone back. Sold the phone to fonebank.com.au for $50. Added some more money to this and ordered a OnePlus One :)
