  • Does anyone know the best way to transfer from Vodafone?'my contract expires on the 10th and I don't want to be charges exit fees from Vodafone but I also don't want to pay for an extra moth!?

  • Thanks, just did mine then and paid the 22.50 XD

Just go to their facebook page to see why they are doing this. New pricing and conditions start from today. There has been a mass exodus of customers. Another thing to consider before switching- they don't offer 4G and I found their coverage to be the pits.

  • love amaysim! all that data =3

    • Good on you mate! I'm on the same unlimited plan and use no date (absolutely 0mb) and am still forced to "enjoy the extra data and same great talk and text freedom that amaysim UNLIMITED has always provided"

      Benefits some I guess

        Go a different plan then.

      • And pay the extra $5 a month for that privilege. I went no where near the amount of data included (as do most people) and they upped the allowance as well as the price- as of today!

Moved to Yatango as part of the exodus and built my own plan. Went from $39.90 to $22 a month

    • Yep- me too mate! Halved my monthly bill and it's a 4G service.

    • Care to share some of your experiences with it? I'm looking at moving out from Amaysim and wasn't able to find a decent alternative

You can get a free trial for 30 days which gives you 600 minutes of calls, 600 sms and 1gb data

I chose no sms as I don't use them but their price is very low, they are also one of the only telcos now that bills data per kb instead of per mb which keeps your usage down.

$40 credit per referal and you also earn money by answering questions in their forum.

No contracts and at the end of each month they asses your bill and make recommendations to get your price lower.

<MOD> Do not comment asking for people to private message (PM) you for a referral/affiliate link.

      • Set up a Yatango trial yesterday afternoon, still waiting for the sim to be activated so 1. give yourself a window of no communications 2. Amazing how many businesses aren't ready for the customers they say they want.

        • I'm keen to try yatango. I'm currently in a $30 Vodafone month to month and it's terrible. Want to maximise my data though, how much would 1.5gb cost with 100 texts and 100 minutes? Thanks in advance :)

        • @ShamelessBargains:

          • 100 min/ 100 sms/ 1gb data = $24
          • 100 min/ 100 sms/ 2gb data = $28
  • LEBARA is hopeless, they tried multiple times and failed to port my number. Had to ditch them for a refund. Their so called "engineers" couldn't figure out why the port wasn't going through and took 5 days to get back to me. The same port took less than 30 minutes from Telstra to Optus. A new number might be a different story.

  • Also not happy with Lebara, check out Boost $40 unlimited on the Telstra network
