You might want to add the price to the title before the angry OZbargainers come out.

It may be a TN panel, but it's one of the best ones out there. the only downside to this monitor is the lack of VESA support, but I've been using one for gaming since it came out and couldn't be happier for the price I paid.

    • What's it like for gaming anyway? Do you need a pretty powerful config to play at its native resolution? Just rather curious about this as looking into buying an external monitor soon.

  • Here I thought it was a TV thinking 'Pft JB has a 32" for under $400". Silly me, PC monitor. That's huge for a PC monitor. Nice price and 4k too.

  • Thats roughly 5% off. Unless you live really close, and wanted to go there again anyway, I would have just bought it at the original price. Your time has to have some value. Im just saying.

30.000hz at 4k is pretty ruff, like moving your mouse through jelly

Good thing this is a 60Hz panel then.

  • Do you guys plan to use this more for gaming…. or instead for text (programming/web) or graphic work ?

If gaming, do you have gfx setups capable of 30fps+ 4K gaming, or just run the games at 1080p (so 1 game pixel = 4 screen pixels).

    • 4k Gaming but prob use the AOC version. Need to wait for Nvidia to announce new tech sometime in September to gauge what will be happening. Many rumors, no info.

Here's an alternative for people happy with 2K res that ticks other boxes

  • Can this monitor support 4k resolution @ 60Hz with DisplayPort, Intel HD 4000 (Ivy Bridge)?
