Nokia 630, is it normal that the top screen has a dark shadow?

Hi, I just bought Nokia 630 from DickSmith from the other day.
When I set the bg white, there is a dark shadow part on the top screen.
Is it normal?

Post a screenshot, though it doesn't sound normal.

Take a screenshot and email it to yourself check on computer. If it's not there it's a screen issue.

nokia's have shit quality these days… Mine was charged and stored for 3 months and then recharged and stored for another 3 and then it wouldn't turn on… no drops, no water, just stored… Batt is fine… shit quality control and build quality/parts
